Texture Designer

Achitexure – Standex Engraving / Mold-Tech (Jun 2020 – Current)

Served as the Interim Design Manager for North America.

Designing bespoke textures for plastics molding. Work directly with the customers from art to part. Evaluated tooling for feasibility and identifying issues with draft angle, texture depth, repeat issues, undercut, die lock, flash, and ghosting. Resulting in production ready tooling.

Oversaw the manufacturing process from Start to finish.  Predicted possible complications and Determine solutions to intricacies throughout the process.

Dewalt(Aug–Dec 2009)

Worked with senior designers in the Industrial Design studio . Developed new solutions to handheld tools, focusing on aesthetics and ergonomics. Worked with master modelers and marketing on product testing with sample groups.

Assisted in teaching CAD base surfacing software to entry level students. Also, taught photorealistic taught rendering software such as Hypershot.​

Prototype Fabricator

Fabricated one-off prototype parts into current model vehicles for research and testing for the advancement of newer models. Programs flat laser using C.A.D. based software.
